There are a multitude of opportunities for the hunting of game such as duck, deer, rabbit, squirrel, quail, turkey - to name a few. Additionally, there are any number of places for fishing. Within an hour's drive, there is trout fishing as well as various kinds of fish locally. The water areas provide an abundance of sources for the enjoyment of watersports of all kinds. The various parks - both locally and in the adjoining areas - provide sites for camping, sight-seeing, picnicking and cook-outs. These provide different areas for sports with the volleyball courts, tennis courts, a track field and playground equipment to name a few.
